2019 ICT Capacity Building for Innovative Teachers in Rwanda

From April 15th through April 18th, 2019, KERIS held the ‘2019 ICT-Capacity Building Program for Innovative Teachers in College Saint Andre, Rwanda. This training program was attended by 35 innovative teachers from ICT classroom school and solar school. Officials from Rwanda Education Board also attended.

This on-site training is being promoted as part of the ‘e-Learning Globalization Project’, which is an Official Development Aid (ODA) project that has been operated for the last 15 years by the Korean Ministry of Education. Rwanda is a partner country of ‘Innovative ICT-Integrated Classroom Project’ and ‘Solar School Project’. During the training, the trainees experienced Korea’s ICT in educational model along with important theories and practices of ICT in education. From this training, the innovative teachers were able to experience ICT integrated learning through first-hand examples of practical use of educational contents.
