On March 7, KERIS held a bilateral consultation on digital education innovation with H.E. Jaime José López Badia, the Ambassador of El Salvador to Korea.

Ambassador López Badia expressed great interest in Korea’s digital education and has also submitted a letter of intent(LIO) to join GEIA(Gloval Education Innovation Alliance) as a member country.

During the meeting, KERIS provided an overview of Korea’s digital education innovation policies, including AI Digital textbooks, the AI competency framework for teachers, teacher training programs, and infrastructure development. Both parties also discussed potential areas of collaboration between the two countries.
