On May 13, 2025, the Global Education Reform Conference was held at the Jeju International Convention Center. This event was organized as an associated forum to the 2025 APEC Education Ministerial Meeting, under the theme “Educational Innovation and Global Cooperation in the Era of AI and Digital Transformation.”

In the Innovation Session focusing on primary and secondary education, President Jae-young Chung of KERIS moderated a panel discussion on the topic “Teacher-led Classroom Innovation.” The session discussed strategies for ensuring the stable adoption of AI and digital technologies in classroom instruction.

At the K-EDU exhibition booth, KERIS promoted the use of AI-based digital textbooks through live classroom demonstrations and hands-on experiences, providing participants with insights into the future of digital learning in Korea.
