On April 16, a delegation from UNESCO-UNEVOC and the UNESCO Tehran Office visited KERIS to explore Korea’s digital-based initiatives in higher education and technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

During the meeting, the UNESCO-UNEVOC team introduced their flagship project, Innovating Iran’s Instructor Training Center (ITC), along with other ongoing efforts in the field of TVET. KERIS shared its key services and programs, including the Korea Open CourseWare (KOCW) platform, which provides open access to a wide range of higher education and vocational training resources.

The delegation and KERIS discussed potential areas of collaboration, particularly in the integration of digital technologies in TVET and higher education, and expressed interest in strengthening future cooperation.
